I'm Ed, a First-Class Exeter maths graduate. I spent a decade teaching at Cranleigh School and Blundell's School, and I play semi-professional hockey for Old Georgians. I keep the number of families I personally teach deliberately small each term, so every programme gets my full attention; where my own diary is full, I introduce families to tutors from my own team, each personally vetted by me.

How It Works
On the call, we get a flavour for how your child's getting on with maths at the moment, where things feel comfortable, and where the gaps are starting to show.
From there we figure out how best to build the fuller picture: sometimes that's a short test, sometimes it happens naturally in the first session, sometimes it's simply reviewing a recent past paper. Whatever fits best for your child.
Once we know where the gaps are, we build a real plan around them.
Nothing sticks after just one pass, so we keep revisiting earlier content alongside anything new, so it's genuinely learned, not just covered.

Sessions run over video with a shared digital whiteboard, so your child can see everything Ed writes in real time and keeps the notes afterwards. All they need is a laptop or tablet and a quiet room.
Most families get in touch after a school report or an exam result reveals a gap, often around the turn of the year. Some plan further ahead of a key exam year, but it's usually a specific moment that prompts the first call rather than a fixed time in the calendar.
